What is Triple Threat? It is Hypochlorous (HOCI):

Nature's oldest disinfectant, in fact, it's inside every human body!

The main ingredient in Protek’s Triple Threat is Hypochlorous (HOCI), which is a substance naturally produced by our white blood cells and travels in our blood system fighting off infections and helping to heal wounds. (depicted above white and red blood cells traveling together)

HOCl provides a unique power to eradicate dangerous organisms while not causing harm to our cells, and is one of the only agents that is both benign to the delicate cells that heal wounds while being lethal to almost all known dangerous bacteria and viruses.

HOCI is also the active ingredient in electrolyzed water, which is an industrial technology used for green cleaning Green Cleaning refers to using cleaning methods and products with environmentally friendly ingredients and procedures which are designed to preserve human health and environmental quality. Green cleaning techniques and products avoid the use of products which contain toxic chemicals, some of which emit volatile organic compounds causing respiratory, dermatological and other conditions. and sanitizing.

electrolyzed water = anolyte = Hypochlorous (HOCI) = Triple Threat

Electrolyzed water is made when electricity is used to change the chemical structure of salt and water into a green cleaner Green Cleaning refers to using cleaning methods and products with environmentally friendly ingredients and procedures which are designed to preserve human health and environmental quality. Green cleaning techniques and products avoid the use of products which contain toxic chemicals, some of which emit volatile organic compounds causing respiratory, dermatological and other conditions. 100x more effective than bleach, but with no harmful chemicals, fumes or residues. When salt water is electrolyzed, it produces an anolyte solution that consists of >99.3% water, chloride salt and pH neutra HOCI. This provides hospital level rapid disinfection yet is gentler than other disinfection chemicals and unlike traditional electrolysis with saline solution, it maintains high activation energy that brings about an accelerated disinfection process. Its active ingredient, HOCI has a much greater biocidal effect than commonly used chlorine bleach.

Triple Threat is neutrally charged

TRIPLE THREAT vs. other disinfectants

Triple Threat® active ingredient, hypochlorous (HOCI), is produced at 500 ppm and has a much greater biocidal effect than commonly used chlorine bleach due to it’s high ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) of> 900 mV. ORP (oxidation reduction potential) is a measure of a chemical ability to acquire electrons from or lose electrons to an electrode and thereby be reduced or oxidized respectively. ORP potential is measured in millivolts (mV). The more positive the ORP, the stronger the oxidation rate. ORP reflects the antimicrobial potential of a liquid.

Disinfectants and microbial pathogens interact with each other similar to magnets. If you bring together two negatively charged magnets, they will repel each other. Bacteria and most disinfectants are both negatively charged and behave like two negatively charged magnets repelling each other. Triple Threat (HOCI)) is neutrally charged and is not repelled by bacteria. It’s lack of electrical charge allows it to move quickly and more efficiently penetrate the protective barriers surrounding germs and oxidize bacteria in a matter of seconds. And, TRIPLE THREAT does not allow the microbe to replicate or become resistant or create “Super Bugs.”

The activity of TRIPLE THREAT as a bactericide is 100 times more powerful than bleach.  Manipulating the pH is the secret to our proprietary technology.  TRIPLE THREAT has a neutral pH of 6.5 to 7.0 (similar to water), while at the simultaneously maintaining the highest level of HOCI and free chlorine.
